Refurbished Printers
Refurbishing Process
Virtue IT takes pride in our refurbishing process. The process starts when the product arrives at our loading docks. We have designated employees to receive in product and match up what is on our purchase orders versus what was received. The printers are then separated by manufacturer, audited, and then logged into inventory. They are then designated as a printer to be broken down for parts or sent to the “to be refurbished department.” We do not break down parts that are designed to wear out and be replaced. Those parts are purchased new only and used on our refurbished printers. The printer’s external plastics are removed and dipped in a cleaning solution or if they are “yellowed” they are painted to look new. Next a maintenance kit is installed. This includes a rebuilt fuser with new rollers, separation pads and other parts depending on the printer. Any faulty part noted during the audit process is also replaced at this time. Finally the printer is reassembled and the printer’s settings are restored to the factory defaults. All printers and or printer parts are professionally packaged and boxed for safe transport.
